George Arthur Ecker

Uncle George was my favorite uncle. He and Aunt Betty lived nearby; our families did a lot together. Uncle George was the one we called when our folks were out of town and a problem came up. He was the one who told jokes and made us laugh. He was the swimmer and diver. I will always remember hearing that he jumped into the pool off the second floor balcony of Bill and Lucie's house in Florida.

Uncle George was always fun to be around. Whenever Floyd & I would see him he would always have a big smile and a friendly word. He was always up for a game of Euchre and we all had fun no matter who won. He loved to tease and always had a twinkle in his eye. I will miss him. I'm sorry I missed the funeral. I hear it was beautiful.

just a note to george's family..bill and i use to bowl with betty and george..years ago we got one of your dog's puppies ( years ago!!)bill and george were in the same union and worked in same places lots of times..i lost bill last april and i am sorry to hear about george..best to all of you..shirley boa
