Ray was the essential gentleman and consumate professional. Polished. Sharp of mind and wit. Playful. Mischievous. Kind. We were fortunate to learn from his example. Gay, Josh, and Rip. I just found out about Ray's passing and had to reach out. I worked for Ray at the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps in New Haven when he was CEO (both times!). I have so many fond memories of Ray (his smile, his positive attitude, the sound of change jiggling in his pocket as he walked), but most of all, I just remember him as being a kind and thoughtful human being who cared deeply about his people.
