After five years, the weather has delivered the perfect send-off for my father, George Martin Engel. My mom and dad met as students at Wittenberg University, where legend has it they turned their cafeteria lunch trays into makeshift sleds and raced with other students down a steep hill in the center of campus. Although my siblings and I had not been born yet, this story personifies who our dad was. I am so grateful for all the memories and stories I have of my dad, and for this lovely blanket...
