Not sure what to say?

I truly thank God i had the chance to meet and know Mr.George Exum. He was not just a bossman but he also was my friend. To his family be blessed and know that your father was a great man.

With deepest respect for Mr. George Exum, I send sincere condolences to his famiy. I have so many fond childhood memories of you all!!

Annette, Ouida and George -- I send my love and will see you next time I'm down home.

A truly remarkable man who was admired and respected by all who came to know him. He was a mentor to hundreds and a counselor to all who would listen. Always witty with cliches that always seemed to fit the moment. Uncle C, I have never forgotten: "a winner never quits and a quitter never wins"

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My sympathy and prayers go out to the Exum family. I was in school with Annette and Ouida.

I extend my deepest sympathies to the Exum family, particularly Ouida and Annette, in the loss of your father. I lost my father 26 years ago and I miss him every day. You were truly blessed to have had him with you for so long. I will keep your entire family all in my prayers during this sad time. Patsy Smith Morgan

Dear Annette, Ouida and George, my prayers go out to you all, your family and friends. I never had the opportunity to meet your Dad, but I always hear little pearls of wisdom that he shared with Bobby. God bless you all. Sincerely, Carol Small

U will be miss

I was fortunate to grow up in Raleigh and attend public schools with two of George's children, Ouida and George Jr. They were two of the kindest and perpetually enthusiastic and positive people that I knew growing up. I know George Sr. must have been extremely proud of all of his children. My thoughts and prayers are with the children and the family as they honor and celebrate the life of their father/loved one - Barry Bryant
