George Conrad Farner

I worked with George for years at Goldstone. I always enjoyed talking with him. I smiled when I read that he was "a never-ending source of strange and interesting facts." A funny story is I moved from Barstow in 1994 and had an old seismometer that wasn't working and called George and asked him if he wanted it. He showed up at my house, we loaded it in his car. George will be remembered by us as a kind and caring friend. He would visit us when in the neighborhood here in Bowman. His parents were dear friends and neighbors of ours. We extend sympathy to his family. Roger and Cordella Thompson
