George Wilson Fehr Jr.

I still think of George frequently. I miss our chats on "old" music and movie trivia, and that shy smile when he found something amusing. The few years since his passing have been crazy on this planet, and while it would have been great to lean on him through it all, the memory of our friendship has been a comfort.

I met George through music. He & Patty's love of music shone through as they attended many concerts. But music provides many things but most importantly glimpses below the surface. His humor, zest for life and love for experience came through brilliantly. Always a smile... always interested and engaged... involved in life. I will miss him.

I knew George from Cigna but also live in the same town. I will miss the friendly races home from Bloomfield. The sight of his Ford Ranger rapidly approaching in my rear view mirror always made me smile. I ran into him, literally in a kayak, one foggy evening on the Farmington river while he was fly fishing. Always a kind smile and that hair!!! We will miss you George.

Rhubarb crisp and apple pie...two family favs and undoubtedly Nancy Fehrs base recipes. Fond memories on that glorious terrace in Canton at the family homestead.
Our deepest condolences to you, Patti and certainly Mrs Fehr and Susan. From our house to yours, hugs, love and prayers for wisdom and healing at this time and forward. Thank God for memories.
