Dear Sue and family,

We were so sad to hear of George's passing. Although we did not have the opportunity to know your Dad very well, we both know he had a special place in all of your hearts in the many ways that you each talked about him and the jokes that he shared.

We were sorry that we were not able to express our condolences in person--and have made a donation to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation in his memory.

On my first Friday evening in Cleveland, I was taken to a place called "O'Briens," and introduced to a George Fertal, who immediately filled my social calendar. Later, George manipulated my "wife to be" into a date with me, ( she was not too interested).

Thanks for making a great, positive impact on my life, George!

So many people will miss George. He was a"People Gatherer".......gathered people together to go to a Browns game, gathered people together for a party, for a clambake, for a reunion, for a beach trip, for a bowling team, etc. He brought several couples together at his parties......including Len and me. What a guy!! We will surely miss him. Len and Nancy Hendricks
