Not sure what to say?

Dear Fran,

I was so saddened to hear of George's passing. He had many health problems during your marriage and you took such good care of him. I'm sure he appreciated all of your love and concern.

You were very happy together and I know that you will miss him very much.

I wish I could take away the pain you are feeling, but, unfortunately, only time can do that.

My prayers are with you during this time. God bless.

With love and...

Dear Fran,
I was so sorry to hear of George's passing, but I am happy that he had a great 8-year journey with you. I know he was happy to have you with him and spoil him. You took such good care of him and I know it will be hard to get over this loss. Hang in there and know you did your best. Please extend my condolences to his family as well. Love you, Pat

The Noted Angler

Dear Barbara and George,

Our deepest sympathy to both of you and your family. May memories sustain you at this difficult time.

Much love,
Josie and

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. George Finn. I have fond memories of going on vacation with the Finn family in Marthas Vineyard as a child and being included like a family member. I have so many memories of growing up with Mr. Finn and his family that I felt I was a Finn. Both mine and my families thoughts are with the Finn family at this time and am sure I will see Mr. Finn again in the future when it is my time for me to leave.

My deepest sympathies to the Finn family. George was a great man and friend whose company I enjoyed very much when we worked together at the magazine in NYC. Thinking of all of you,
Colleen McGrath

Dear Fran,

My deepest sympathy in your loss of George. May many pleasant memories give you comfort now and in the days ahead. Rest assured, you made his last years happier than they might have been otherwise. Take care of yourself.

Love,

Audrey
