Read MoreSuch sad news that Dr. Fisk has passed. He was such an important part of my Christian life as I grew up at the First Congregational Church. I have many fond memories of church thanks to his loving, gentle way and leadership. All of us at church were blessed to have him in our lives. My prayers are with his children and families.

I'm one of the many nephews, 2nd son of Bill who was Jean Fisk's brother. I knew George through a series of family reunions and visits from the 50's on, and loved his stories and goofy sense of humor. It was such a treat for us (oregon relatives) to meet with the larger family and I fondly recall adventures in Kansas, Colorado, the Dakotas, Michigan, and here is Oregon. George lived a full life left us better for having known him.
