Not sure what to say?

Besides my family, George Flint had one of the most positive impacts on my life during my early years. I vividly remember "Mr. Flint´s" deep yet soft voice, always upbeat and encouraging. Many of my fondest memories come from the campfires we shared while camping with the Flint family. My parents had a close friendship with George and Anidelle, and they invited them to join us on our camping trips over the years. In 6th grade, Mr. Flint became my teacher, and during my 7th and 8th grades, he...

George Flint was my 6th grade teacher. When I entered his class, I'd recently lost my mother in a deeply tragic way. I was a very 'lost' little soul. He never mentioned her death - I'm certain the school staff knew the details - but was always (I felt then) extremely attentive and kind to me. I loved our "rainy day classroom dances" also! Great fun!

Mr. Flint was my 6th grade teacher at Bullard Elementary. At that time it was a rarity to have a male teacher, let alone one with a beard! He finagled ways to get to take us on the best field trips (a week at Bass Lake, Yosemite, San Juan Bautista among others) making our classroom the luckiest one. I passed on many of his nature lessons to my daughter and I'm sure they will live on with her. It was a pleasure knowing him.

Thank you for being my teacher Mr Flint ..I have not forgotten your kindness.

I have a photo of Mr. Flint wearing a crazy straw hat as he attended a swimming party my parents gave the graduating sixth grade class at Bullard Elementary. He was my teacher, and I never forgot his kindness, his gentleness, his patience, and his love for all of us, which he exuded every day of his life. Sending heartfelt condolences to his family. He was one special man whom I'll never forget. He touched so many lives, including mine.

George (and Anidelle) were great people! It was an honor to be a friend of theirs for 5 decades.

Thinking of the Flint family and hoping the strength and love of your parents will be with you always. I hold dear the memories of both George and Anidelle.

A beautiful tribute to a dear man. George and Anidelle are loved and missed.

Ah, George and Anidelle, two beautiful loving people. The world is better for having had them in this life.
