Not sure what to say?

you will be missed papa fort!!!! =-[

"GG" Fortin was my French teacher for 3 years at Marian Central Catholic High School from 1968-1972. He had such personality, such a great sense of humor, and lots of passion for his job. I loved how he made every last name, including my maiden Irish name of Grogan, into a French name!! Please accept my condolences on behalf of the 4 Grogan girls from Marian High.

Mr. Fortin was my French teacher for three years ('94 - '97) at HN. After transferring to HN following my freshman year, my initial transition was not the smoothest. Within the first month of school, I made a very disrespectful and inappropriate comment to Mr. Fortin. I, very deservingly, received a 5 day suspension. However, he never held a grudge towards me for that incident. We went on to have a great relationship over the next 3 years. Being a high school teacher now, I really...

Although I never had Mr. Fortin as a teacher, I did know him very well. In my four years at Holy Name, I talked to him on a regular basis. He was always one to have a good story. He was a good man. My heart goes out to his family for their loss. He will be missed and never forgotten.

Mr. Fortin was my teacher and friend at Holy Name. He inspired me to minor in French in college. And the two international trips he chaperoned led me to pursue an international career. He was a great man.

I saw him at my niece's graduation a couple of years ago. I looked for him after the ceremony to say hi, but apparently I gave up too quickly. I regret that.

THANKS MR. FORTIN! I'm sure you'll find better students in heaven. And have some tea and crumpets ready...

Mr. Fortin was a great teacher and he was one of the "good guys" in the story of my life. I know many of my classmates feel the same, you will be missed Mr. Fort'... C.H. Class '01.

Mr. Fortin was my French teacher for 4 years. He was such a rare find for his students. He had a great sense of humor and really knew the culture as well and the language he taught. I always sent him Christmas cards after high school. I will miss sending him one this year. My condolences to you, his family, friends, and students.

Mr. Fortin was also my Spanish Teacher in the 90's for high school and I also had the opportunity to take a class trip to Paris my senior year with him...it was a trip I will never forget because of him. He was a great teacher and a wonderful soul. He will be missed but never forgotten. Thank you Mr. Fortin for such great memories. My condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Fortin was my Spanish Teacher at Holy Name back in 1993...He was a great teacher with a great sense of humor....my former classmates and I will always remember him...I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to be one of his students! I will also always remember him restoring order to our class by commanding us to "TUNE INTO THE FORT!" :) God Bless Mr. Fortin and his family, he will be missed!
