George Frayne IV

George was a talented pianist, entertainer and gifted in the fine arts but also an intellectual. He was one of the kindest individuals I ever had the pleasure to call my close friend for almost 50 years. On the road experiences shared would have you laughing until your sides ached. RIP my friend.

I had a friend who passed away about 30 years ago, we would replay Hot Rod Lincoln all night.... Great memories and any time I miss my friend I´ll play Hot Rod Lincoln and remember those good times. Sometimes an artist can have a real impact on peoples lives and for that I am grateful . RIP George Frayne IV....

Apart from being a talented artist and musician in which he found success as both, he was also an intellect with a voracious appetite for literature. Most of all he was one of the funniest people I ever knew. Your abdominals would hurt from laughing so hard. I have some hilarious memories and stories of the Commander. He loved his family so dearly. RIP my dear friend of 50 years. See you on the other side my friend.

Watched CC in NYC back in early 80's. Along with Led Zeppelin - the greatest concert I ever attended. Supurb musician, fantastic showman - you'll be missed Commander!

Friends and I saw you and Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen perform in Baltimore in 1971. My Bud Stuart talked our way backstage and we met you before you left the piano. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life when I was a freshman at St. Mary's College in St. Mary's County, Maryland. Never park that Hot. Rod. Lincoln. And I'll never forget you and your music! Born Loser.

R. I. P. Commander in that Ozone up in the sky. Saw him several times throughout the years. See attached video. Couple years ago.

Commander I'll miss ya. It was an honor and privilege to meet George at Callahans in Michigan. The show was excellent. R. I. P. George thanks for the great music over the years. A great inspiration Sir.

So sorry to hear of George’s passing. His music was a part of our lives. We were fortunate enough to see him perform many times and share a few beverages. Peace and love my friend. The Old Commander will live in our hearts forever.
