George Albert Frye

I became George's neighbor when I moved to Michele Estates in 2012. George helped me when I joined the private water company for Michele Estates and was an incredible asset due to his long experience in our little community. Several times he walked the properties with me and he knew the species of every single tree, flower and shrub we saw. He generously volunteered on the board and was considered the sage of our community. He will be sorely missed.

George hired me while he was the Division Engineer at Aminoil USA and was my mentor for the four years I worked there. George had an appreciation for fine food and wine and he would always finagle business trips to San Francisco to eat at restaurants like the Bankers Club. We would take business associates to John Ash and Calistoga Inn. I learned a lot about the geothermal field and the educating of neophyte engineers and tried to pass his knowledge on when I could.
