I was the paper boy in steelton from 1973-1977 l knew George gable one of my favorite customer on my morning paper route. I will miss the memories. Rip God bless.

I Grew up in Steelton Borough a block from he Gables, I will remember Mr. Gable as a devoted family man who worked at the Steel Mill in Steelton, sometimes pulling double shifts, then coming home only to pick up a ladder then start working on painting houses. I don't think he ever slept. George was a mans a man, totally dedicated his his wife and children and a role model for young men regarding such. George was a friend my father. A true Steeltonian.
