Not sure what to say?

Dear Galati family, I'm so sorry to read about the passing of Mr. Galati. Mr. Galati was the Principal when I attended Roosevelt. The entire Galati family is always in our thoughts and prayers. What a good family! Joey we miss seeing you and your beautiful family at the local restaurant on Fridays, Kenton station had the best burgers! God bless to you all!

Mr. Galati was a wonderful person in so many ways. I was fortunate to be Attendance Secretary at Roosevelt HS while Mr. Galati was our principal. He was a hardworking employee who found time to listen to his staff, and was never too busy to listen re: staff or students concerns. What a good person he was!

Rest In Peace Mr. Galati with your beloved wife and Margaret. Condolences to the Galati family

Thank you, Mr. Galati for being kind and supportive to a shy, awkward kid, who came to Grant from a Catholic grade school. You helped make my life a little easier. I appreciate it deeply.

I was fortunate to have Mr. Galati as my English teacher at Grant High School in 1963. He was a passionate, engaging, caring teacher and well-respected by his students. I am so glad I was able to tell him at one of our reunions that he was influential in my decision to become an English teacher. My deepest condolences to his family for the loss of this wonderful, inspiring man.

I am so sad to hear this news. I run on Willamette Blvd with my Great Dane regularly. My dog loved George and George loved him! He called him a "Good Poochalino!" I talked with George frequently while running and he would honk if he drove by. I´m so sad to just hear of this as he was a fixture on my running route.

I was in Mr Galati's English-Social Studies class 1963-64 at Grant High School. He was a dynamic teacher to all of the freshmen in his class. I have always remembered him with great fondness for teaching us so well & I still remember some of the requirements when we did our reports. I last saw him at our 50th class reunion in 2017, and of course he said that he remembered me. A wonderful teacher and leader.

Tony, Chris, Joe and the entire Galati family. I´m so sorry to hear about your father´s passing, he was a great man who was genuinely interested in others and always strived to improve any situation. He treated everyone like family, and will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences. I was so pleased to be able to celebrate his 90th here on the bluff under the bell tower in his beloved garden. Such a good man.
