George passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. George was a resident of Burlington, North Carolina at the time of his passing. He served in the US Army. He was married to Mozelle Somers Garland. His funeral service will be conducted by Dr. J. Mark Aheron and George's nephew, Rev. George Hall of Johnson City TN and take place at noon on Friday, February 10 at Bible Baptist Church in Burlington. Visitation will immediately precede the service at 10:30 am with burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham is assisting the family.
