Not sure what to say?

Laurie, Maggie, and Linda,
I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Garrison, I'm so sorry for your loss. I found out today when I ran into Linda at the Pizza Hut in Yorktown. I've only been Mr. Garrison's caregiver for 2 months but it was the best 2 months with him. He was a very kind and sweet man. I will never forget those winks he would give me as he would watch t.v. or those words "what are you doing to me woman" as I would get him ready for bed, he always had a way of making me laugh and...

To my mother, aunts and extended family, It was great that he was a part of our lives for so long and we will not forget his love and kindness that he shared. Scott, the kids and I miss "Big GG" lots. Love, Beckie

Laurie and Family,
As I wrote you when you lost your mom, I worked for your father and Maggie back in the mid 1970s. He always was a perfect gentleman with a generosity of spirit. Know that he left this world a better place and that he has now found his peace beside your lovely mother. I miss seeing them both at Grace Church and will always remember them both fondly. With Deepest Sympathy, Vivian Yerby
