Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you Vangie, knowing how you miss George so much. I never met your husband but know he was well respected and well loved. So close to the holidays so hope you are able to enjoy them remembering all your wonderful years with such a good man.

Best wishes to your family during this special time of year. Hope the days ahead will be a bit easier for you.

I worked at the Hill Caffe in the early 70's as well as many other Greek owned eateries! George was a regular at the Hill Caffe and even though I was just the busboy he always shared encouraging words telling me I was polite and well mannered and those were qualities that would help me reach my dreams! To the Family , My Deepest Condolences, Mr.Gekas was a very nice man, his legacy will live on .Rest in Peace Sir:

After George had finished his Washington job he occasionally visited the Harrisburg Rotary meeting on its Monday lunch. He played piano at the entrance in the hotel and those of us who knew him stopped to listen. He knew us from the old days and had a smile.

So sorry for your loss , Mr George Gekas helped me a lot when I was having issues with my immigrant card.. He just wrote a letter to the immigration services to pay attention right away to my application and not be charged for anything. Got my immigrant card within 3 2weeks after . Thank you very much.

Our deepest condolences for your loss. We always respected & loved George, a real gentleman.
