Not sure what to say?

George miss you a lot. I have so many good memories when we would all show up at the Sweetheart Market and you would start kidding us all. You were and always will be very special to me for you were like family. Was so thankful to get to meet all of your family for they because great friends. Love and miss you always.

George, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think and miss you and Lee. You have always treated me and my family very well and for that I will always be thankful. There should be more people like you and your family. Today people have no respect for themself or anyone else and that is so sad. Knowing you are in the best place ever makes me happy and until we all meet again rest in peace and know that I still hear and see Janet when she's not busy. You know nothing keeps her down....

George treated me like family since I was a little girl. Parents always shopped at Sweetheart Market and we were all friends until God called him home. Miss you so much. Memories will never fade away.

George I can't believe that you have gotten your wings. I always think of you and Lee when I drive by your home. Oh how I miss stopping by with Janet to visit and even have a meal. You may be gone but I will never forget all the good times that our family would have when we came into the Sweetheart Market. Those were the good old days and I will never forget those wonderful times together. My prayers go out to the family whom I love so much and the memories I have with each of you. ...

Mr. Gelsomin, it was always a pleasure working for and with you. Working hard and learning responsibility at Sweetheart laid the foundation for my military service and being a father and husband.

Thank you for that, and may you rest in peace.

George I still miss you so much. You have been a special person to me all my life and there's not a day that goes by that I remember Sweetheart Market and how good you were to our family. You never hesitated to be the kind person everyone knew you were & up until God called you home I'm so thankful that you were always good to me when I came to visit. Good people are hard to find these days. Til we meet again, know that you are loved and missed so much.

The other day I got a note from an old friend that talked about there being 5 people you will encounter who will have a profound effect on your life, Mr. Gelsomin was one of the 5 in mine. I began working at Sweetheart when I was 14. The lessons and work ethic George instilled in me, and so many others, have helped shape my entire life. He was a tremendous man to work for and learn from. I'm thankful for having had him in my life. He gave me great life lessons and an opportunity to meet...

To the Gelsomin family:
As I've recently shared with close friends with whom I worked with at Sweetheart Market, I will be eternally grateful for the the work ethic he played a key role in instilling in me. A work ethic that served me well ever since and helped me became the person I am today. May God bless and comfort you during these difficult and painful days.

My thoughts and prayers are with George Sr and the entire Gelsomin family. I was one of those fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work for George Sr and the Gelsomin family and have never forgotten the many things I learned that have influenced me both personally and professionally. George Sr taught me the importance of high standards, the principle that the customer always comes first and most of all, give young people an opportunity to work and learn as they begin to entire...
