George Anthony Gonzales was born December 31, 1953 and returned to the Lord on January 22, 2019 to join his loving parents Gilbert and Helen, brother John, and sister Diane.
George was a loving and committed son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Some of his favorite family outings were going to concerts, trips to the mountains, Dodger games, and backyard barbecues.
He loved listening to various genres of music: country, classic rock, swing, jazz, oldies, and Spanish music. His true passion was sports. He ran track and field, played baseball and football for Burke Middle School and El Rancho High School. He coached baseball/softball for over 30 years. After baseball games at Rivera Park, he enjoyed meeting under the Yum-Yum tree with other coaches.
He leaves behind a family legacy with his wife Carmen, daughters Christina and Leticia, son Victor, son-in-law Joey and daughter-in-law Jenni, grandchildren: Christina, Alexandria, Juliette, Julian, Vincent, Aleah, Mia, Gabriella, Kimberly, great grandchildren: Aiden and Athena, and brothers Gilbert and Jack
