Read MoreGeorge was a close personal friend of ours having bowled together for years in the same league. We communicated often via the mail, he sending me birthday cards and anniversary cards. He also was a frequent visitor when I was in the hospital many years ago. I knew something was amiss when I hadn't heard from him for some time and my mail was not being answered.

George was an avid bowler and bowled with my husband, my son and myself for years in the Broadview Mixed League. George has kept in touch with my family over the years sending me birthday cards and anniversary cards. He will be sorely missed.
