Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

It has been a month since Daddy passed away, but it seems just like yesterday. I thought I would wait a month to sign this Guest Book hoping it would be easier to do but it isn't. All I can keep thinking about is the morning he died . How he seemed so uneasy. not really in any pain just restless. When I went over to see if he wanted anything when I first awakened he asked to sit up I raised his bed up and felt how cold he was. I got him a warmed blanket from the dryer and covered him up . I...

I am so glad I had the opportunity to see you in August and listen to you sing a few tunes for me. I know Mom was happy to see you again. And, I know from the conversations we had in August that you were ready to be with her. I love you. You were the best father I could have ever wished for. One memory I have of you always brings a smile to my face. Remember one summer, when I was about 9 or 10, you were laying on a blanket under the pear trees and you would let me comb your hair and I made...

Dear TJ and family,
Your grandfather will always be near you whenever he comes to mind, until the glorious day you'll be together again.
In deepest sympathy.

Grandpa taught me how to play cards. Of course he would let me win once in a while. He was the coolest man I knew, still know. I loved him so much. I wish that he could come back. But I know him and Grandma are happy now. I just feel sad that he isn't here anymore. "I LOVE YOU GRANDPA"

What can I say other than I'll miss him dearly. I would sometimes say goodbye to Grandpa, he would correct me and say SEE YOU LATER. Well Grandpa, I'll see you later. You can drop by and see me anytime; just don't scare the crap out of me. :)

I miss you soooo much.

Grampa,
Today was the last day I had the chance to see you before I come to heaven myself. I am so sad that I will not see you until then but I am thankful that you are not suffering any more and that you are carrying on with your journey. I appreciate that You & Grandmama had four beautiful daughters that have shown me so much love that I can also carry on the family trait of being kind, gentle, soft hearted, generous in concern and love and hard working like you were. I am grateful...

Grandpa you were my grandfather by marriage, but you treated me like your own. I always enjoyed visiting with you and looking at photos and stories you told.
