George H. Griggs

Mr. George H. Griggs, 79, passed away on Thursday December 30, 2010 in the St. Michael's Medical Center, Newark. Mr. Griggs was born in Orange and lived in North Arlington before moving to Kearny 30 years ago. He was employed as Tool and Dye maker at Worthington Pump in Harrison for 15 years. He retired in 1993. Prior he worked in the same capacity for Westinghouse in Newark for several years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. George was the beloved father of Susan M. Consalvo and her husband Bernie, Jr., Thomas G. and his wife Marie (Kearney) and Michael F. and his wife Dana (Williams). He was the grandfather of Brittany, Brandan, "Little B", Danielle, Michael, Jr., Sean, Olivia, Thomas Jr., and Jillian. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of George H.
