Not sure what to say?

I was hoping to find an old friend when I came across this notice. I met George in 1970 at Penn State. I was the only person from my high school to go there and I was a little lost. George befriended me and introduced me to his friends John Gruneberg and Frosty. We spent a lot of time together. I visited Shamokin and he came to Philly with John and Tabby. I am sorry to hear that he has passed.

George's caring attitude is what I will remember him by. He always found the time to help people who needed guidance and support, and always kept a smile on his face. Losing him will certainly impact so many lives. He will be missed. My sincere sympathy is extended to his family.

I have lots of great memories of George since meeting him in Jr. Hi. He loved to joke & tease(Like when I was giving an oral report in geography.) I have thought of him often over the years, and would pray for him. He had so much potential, and it was so difficult to hear of his struggles.
I wish now I would've had more contact with him. I feel a loss, and I grieve for you, the parents & family, that had to say good-bye. I pray now for you; May God comfort you as only He can, and may you...

I first met George on our very first day of kindergarten! Throughout school, he was so witty and his comments were devastatingly funny...he got me in trouble with the teachers more than once, but it was well worth it. I am sure his "Aunt Peg" is delighted to see him, and Heaven is a much livelier place since he arrived. "Good night, sweet prince, And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!"

My deepest condolences to you all during this difficult time. George was always so kind to me when I saw him--hiking at the cottage and talking at Margaret's wedding. I'm so sorry for your sudden loss.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

May the LORD comfort you in this time of your lost. He will alway be with you in your heart and memories.
I graduate with George at SHS.

May you rest in peace and may God's angels watch over you. Sorry I never got a chance to know you better.

My sympathy to the family. George and I have been friends for 30 years. I am sad for the loss of a friend
