GEORGE HARBISON

I played football with George at WMNU. I stayed in contact with him thru the 80s and 90s. I was telling a story about him at work this morning. I tried to call him at an old number I've had for him since then. When I searched the internet I found his obit. So sorry to learn of his passing. Wherever I went with George in El Paso or Juarez, it seemed everyone knew him. He was a gentle giant and always had a twinkle in his eye. I'll miss you mi compadre.

I found out about George's passing today, reading the obituaries. I was friends with George prior to he and his family moving to Colorado I'm guessing around 15 years ago. I lost contact with him and did not know that he returned to El Paso. I was hoping to make contact with him again someday. My condolences go out to Lupe, George Jr., and Lupita - who I remember as cute little kids. I have fond memories of the days when we were hanging out and am saddened by this news. He was too young. Just today, I learned my good friend George had passed. I am saddened to hear he has left us.way too soon! He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace and be in God's grace. My condolences to the entire Harbison Family, may the Lord comfort all of you during this time and always.

George was the best of the best! Nunca se rajaba! He loved his family very much. He was a great uncle to our children.

We made some great memories together-we will miss him dearly!
