So sorry to hear of the homegoing of Uncle George. He was deeply loved by us all & he was such a special & unique uncle that touched our lives in so many ways. He will be deeply missed by us all but he is a far better place now... with a new body, free of pain & suffering. You & Uncle George always reached out to us & made us feel so very special & loved & part of your extended family. Aunt Maxine, lean on the Lord & He will comfort & sustain you in the days...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

We will remember George for his love of hunting and fishing, but most of all for his love of his wife, Maxine. Love and prayers.

Grandpa, thanks for my first ride on a lawn tractor & a snowmobile.

I will always remember:

- the two of us walking the lane on the farm out to go bow hunting, the conversations we would have on our walk out and the ones on our way back. Oh, and that cotton sack with the drawstring you would always bring apples in.

- you adding the word UP NORTH to my vocabulary and taking me to a place to remember it by.

- you letting me go alone, anywhere on...
