Not sure what to say?

George and I attended the same schools in the same grades in Jackson. I always admired the way he dressed and conducted himself. When the dance "The Twist" was popular, I was pretty uncoordinated doing it. I watched George, who did it so well. I then learned, as well as I could, to do it like he did. Sympathy and blessings to his family.

So sorry to read this news in the paper about George. I always had a special place in my heart for George as my step-brother during the years his Mom, Florence was married to my Daddy, Jim Smith for 25+ years. I shall forever keep these fond memories close to my heart and there is no doubt in my mind that he is in his Mother's loving arms today. All my love George, ..... Laura Lewis, Terry, MS

I am so sorry to learn that George has passed away. He was such a dear friend in high school and I still remember our times car pooling, myf at church, riding in his camero convertible and playing pool at his house and many more. He was such a good person...I am sure he will be missed by his family and friends.

George was a close friend and neighbor while we attended high school at Wingfield...I have so many fun memories of car pooling, MYF at church, riding in his convertible and playing pool at his house. I know he will be missed by his friends and relatives.

As his classmate at Peeples Jr. High and sophomore year at Provine, I fondly remember George as a good-looking, kind and considerate young man. He was clever and bright, well liked and admired by his teachers and peers alike, and, as I recall from the junior high sock-hops, quite a good dancer! We had several classes together, and I was amazed to notice on many occasions that he had the most beautiful handwriting I had ever seen, especially for a guy and a lefty!
I pray that God will...

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and your Wingfield family. Sorry your life was cut a little short, but for you there is a better plan in place for you.

My condolences to George's '' Aunts, cousins and loving friends''...from a friend and Wingfield classmate of Georges.

My Dad died at 60 and being just 22 at the time, I thought that was pretty old. But now that I am 60 I realize how young it actually is...George... sorry your life was cut so short.

I remember visiting George's home on Raymond Rd.in junior high and high school. He loved people, had a good sense of humor, very involved in school activities. I cherish his memory.

I have fond memories of George at Peeples Jr. High, Wingfield and Ole Miss. He was a great friend and will be missed. I particularly remember his dedication to his mother after the loss of his Dad. God Bless you, George.
