Not sure what to say?

Much of my childhood was spent with Lea and Starr. I have fond memories of our overnights and your Dad was always very nice and I recall him bringing a tape recorder home and spending hours with Lea recording, who knows what? Lea, do you recall following your Dad home from Philadelphia and he never knew we were behind in my car? We laughed until we hurt! What an incredibly long life to celebrate!

George Harris was a great person! I have fond memories of him growing up. Hopefully, the good memories will sustain you both, Lea and Starr, through this time. My best to you both.

Uncle George as we called him, was a warm, witty and wise man who loved the sea and sailing. He had a taste for adventure that belied his quiet persona.

Always self effacing he was very good company, helpful to all and erudite without pomposity or pedantry. George studied the Great Books for years. He participated in one or more study/discussion groups which met regularly to discuss those books. He lived simply and frugally. George loved ice and ball room dancing. He continued...

For years, we round and square danced with George...He was a member of our round dance group, and always a welcome smile! Peace be with your family.

When I think of Uncle George, I always think of rosy cheeks and a wonderful smile and that is how I will remember him. My sympathies to Lea and Starr and family.
