To Phyllis and the boys, AND, the rest of the family,
Please accept my condolences as George left this life for another, I am so very sorry to learn this.
As I type this message, I am smiling, laughing and remembering what a life he lived. Then I got to thinking about MY life. It struck me.......... My life was transformed many many years ago as I learned I needed a savior, and I thought of George, and many others from a time long long ago, when my heart was surrendered to our Lord. As Phyllis can attest, I was not the easiest youngster in the church to manage; but to this day I fondly remember the many time both Phyllis and George visited with my mother and father; and I fondly remember my relationship with the family. Thank You George ~ Thank You for caring enough about your Lord, that you shared with me. I'm sure when George heard those fabulous words:"Well done, thy good and faithful servant", he knew it was all worth it.
I honor George today by this message, and by doing so, I hope I honor our Savior.
Regards to the family, one I have not spoken to in probably 20 years, but remember all so well; and that speaks volumes.
Romans 8:18................
Regards, cam

My sympathy to the Harris Family! I saw George at home and at church and he was the same person. It was a joy to walk the halls of Liberty Baptist Church and see great men and women like George Harris and many others now with the Lord! More and more of our believing parents are celebrating at the feet of Jesus that they had trusted all of their lives! We must build on this incredible legacy they have left us!

Sandy & I fondly remember George who had such godly influence on Sandy's life as a teenager. George (& Phyllis) were like a second set of parents to Sandy and together we have many fun memories @Ed Allens and eating Sealtest ice cream! George loved his family, served his church and most of all he honored his God. Praise the Lord he is in eternity with his Savior.
