Not sure what to say?

One of the finest humans I ever met, at Vanderbilt 1973. My father died when we were at Vanderbilt, I was 8 mo pregnant, and George led a quiet prayer for my dad. Both were inspiring

Only moments ago did I learn of Dr. Harrison's homegoing. I loved this precious man dearly. While my husband and I were both students at NOBTS, I had the privilege of working as his secretary during the summer break. I looked at him as my grandpa, the highest esteem I could give anyone. I loved talking with him and learning from such a knowledgeable man. He will always hold a special place in my heart.

Dr.George Harrison was.our interim pastor in Metairie, La. He led me to Jesus and baptized me when I was 9 years old. So thankful for this wonderful man who loved the Lord and who loved our nation.

Tonight I discovered Dr. Harrison passed away in 2018. Of all my professors at NOBTS, Dr. Harrison was the one I held in highest esteem. I enjoyed walking with him in the hallways on his way back to his office. One of the most memorable moments was the time he told us his death experience when he had a heart attack. What he revealed in class that day has stayed with me all these years. Now he resides where he once visited--Paradise with Jesus.

So sorry to hear about your loss...May the God of all comfort touch your heart with his love and peace during this time of grief and sorrow.

Sending prayers to you and your family for the loss of your precious love

It was always great to see him at Cracker Barrel, as he encouraged me in writing Religion Columns for the Mobile Press Register. He was a great expositor of the Word and a gracious exhorter from the Word! I pray the Lord will comfort his...
