Not sure what to say?

I was a parishioner at St. John´s when I was confirmed under the guidance of Father Hartnett. He was one of the kindest people I´d ever met, and had a lasting impact on my life, in good times and bad. In recent years I´d intended to reconnect with him, only to learn he had passed. I wish I´d had the chance to tell him how important he was in my life.

It´s funny, but, I think of George often, & I always smile when I do. He´s a great guy to have up there for ya!! Keep Watchin over us George, & add my Granddaughter Zoey. We need it!! Thanks, pal "Loady"

Fr George was a great guy & friend.

“Loady” & family!!!

George loved being a priest. He is sure to be rewarded for his quiet example of faith and trust in God. He taught me more than all the seminaries combined. Rest and rejoice dear friend, pray for me too!

Dear Jimmy, Susan, and family. I was so very saddened to hear of George's passing. I am sure he is in a place where all things are good.
Take care,

Kate Dole

To the Harnett Family,

I was very saddened to learn of the passing of Fr. George. I attended
St. Brigid's Grammar School with "Georgie" and have many fond
memories of him and those years we spent in school.

Peace to all of your family,

My deepest prayers for Fr. Hartnett and his family. Fr. Hartnett was ordained on May 18,1974 along with my brother, Fr. Anthony Cincotta. Fr. Anthony passed away this passed July. May God hold them in the Palm of His Hand.

To the family of Father Hartnett,
My family had the privilege of having Father Hartnett officiate the baptism of our granddaughter July 3 of this year at St. Patrick's Church. He was very frail, but thrilled to be able celebrate the Mass, as well as the Baptism. He made the day a very special one for us all. We are so sorry for your loss.

Dear Jim, Susan and Family,

On behalf of the members of the North East Ice Skating Managers' Association, please accept my condolences on the loss of your brother.
Jim always spoke so highly of George and clearly his many parishioners over the years agree.
Please know that we have appreciated all of your "ministering" to our officers and members, and we offer you our most sincere sympathies during this difficult time for you.

May God Bless George and all of...
