Not sure what to say?

I served with George in the Marines in the late 60s. We went to boot camp together and served 6 more years. Great fun to be around and he will be missed. RIP old friend,

Kristen Thomas Thies June 2015

Thoughts of the Hayes brothers will forever bring me memories of fun and joy during my own teenage years in Bayridge, Brooklyn. George was always joyful and his brother John was always more serious, but together they were simply wonderful to be around and one could't help loving them.

The first time I met George, I didn't know he was a twin. I saw him the next day (I thought it was him) and he walked right past me. I then saw him the following day and he greeted me warmly to which I asked "what the heck is going on?"

My sincere condolences.
Peace

My deepest sympathies
