Not sure what to say?

Mr Heath was my history teacher. What a remarkable man. He clearly loved what he did. And his students adored him. I count myself as fortunate to have met him

I had Mr. Heath for sophomore history 74/75. What an incredible man. My favorite memory. I wore Charlie perfume. When Mr. Heath's back was turned. He was writing on the blackboard. I snuck out my perfume thinking he wouldn't know. Without turning around I heard "Miss Bisdorf, I can smell you from here. Put that bottle away." I miss him, the best teacher I ever had.

I was enjoyed finding Mr Heath at the Rockies games. This is from April 2017.

Of the many teachers I had at Jefferson High School, Mr. Heath was my favorite. And I know this is true for a number of my friends. The fact that he was a bit of a character helped make his history class, which could have been dry and boring, much more entertaining and educational. Many of us have the same memories of Mr. Heath, such as his distinctive orange socks, or his demonstrating how the word czar originated from the word ceasar ("ceasar-ceasar-cesar-cesar-csar-czar-czar" he would...

My name is Jeri Crum Chavez. Mr. Heath was my high school Spanish teacher at Jefferson High School. I graduated in 1969. He was a wonderful teacher and human being. He made learning fun and was such a nice man! He is one of the reasons that I decided to continue my studies in Spanish and become bilingual. RIP Mr. Heath. You made a difference. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Just thinking of Mr. Heath puts a smile on my face. He was always happy and filled with enthusiasm. He was my Spanish teacher, and that was how I first heard of Don Quixote de la Mancha - turned out to be one of my favorite works. After high school, I lived in Mr Heath's neighborhood, and he always took the time to say "hi" while working at our polling place. He seemed to know everyone, and never forgot who we were. Mr. Heath was "one of a kind" and will be remembered fondly.

A very memorable, kind and funny teacher I knew in the early 70s.

Mr. Heath had an energy that was unmatched by any teacher before or after. Especially while standing on top of a desk and doing a ‘triple slide show’. After many years I still think of him...he is one of my password security questions! ‘Who was your favorite teacher in High School?’
