Although I didn't know George personally, I did work with his brother Bill at the Beacon Journal. Bill had spoken of him being ill.

I miss my dad, but I know he is in heaven. I will always remember the Sunday visits, weekends on the boat, trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, etc.....
He was always a friend to all and a great dad.
