Not sure what to say?

I just stumbled upon this obituary and am saddened by the news. George was a great friend at Intel and brought a lot of laughter into our lives at Intel.

I just learned today of George's passing, my condolences to Donna and the rest of George's family. We were co-workers at Intel for years and I always looked to George for advice and council. I counted him as one of my mentors during my career. One of my fondest memories was when we were on a business trip to Phoenix, and I coaxed George to get up early and hike to the top of Squaw Peak at 5:00 am...not only was the hour of awakening an unusual event for him, but the strenuous exercise to the...

Everyone,
Thank you so much for your kind words. George was the kindest, must generous man I've ever known. I miss him terribly. I am so happy that you have fond memories of him, that would make him happy.

George was a good friend and mentor to me throughout our too-brief time together at Intel. His acerbic wit and ability to handle the endless bureaucracy of Intel with aplomb was an inspiration to me. I think about the good times spent on the deck of his lovely home every time I ride by it on my bike. Thank you, George. You'll be missed.

I recall the great admiration that Marty had for George while attending OSU. Recollections of the fun and laughter and teasing and learning that you shared are gems that will shine forever. Our prayers and condolences are with the family.

Mt simpathy and prayers for the family are with you at this time of your greif.
My wish is that you remember the fun and joy you shared with George.

George, I will never forget the black and gold bike with the wheels set off-center that nearly bucked me off every time I rode it; WEIII, your radio controlled airplane named after the dorm you lived in your freshman year at OSU; or the time we watched the solar eclipse together, with the wonder and excitement of a couple of children.

You took care of me at OSU, picking me up at the dorm so many times that most of my friends thought you were my boyfriend. I spent many evenings at...

What a shock! George was one of my favorite bosses at Intel. It's been many years since I've seen him, but have very fond memories. Always remeber his response to "Do you need anything?". . . "Yes, a winning lottery ticket." Still makes me smile.

My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.
