Not sure what to say?

We just found out about Fr. Helfrich. We enjoyed having him at St. Eugene's. He was always very kind to my family. He will be missed by all.

Father Helfrich was a kind and loving man. When my kids were at St. Eugene's he was always so nice to us. He's found his rest.

To the Family of Fr. George: I just found out that Fr. George had passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. Fr. George has been in my lfe for a long time. I am the niece of Gene and Carol Kalinowski. He married my husband and I, 31 years ago at St. Cornelius Church. You could not ask for a more devoted priest, and good friend. My family and I will truly miss him. God Bless Fr. George.

I was very sorry to hear of Father Helfrick's passing. I worked with him many years ago at St Martha's.
Both my husband & I considered him a kind and caring person.
He has had many trials in his life, but he is now at peace with his Lord.

Fr. George blessed a lot of people. Now God is blessing him.

To the Family of Fr.George Helfrich:
Father George was a childhood friend of my father, Richard O'Brien and his next-door neighbor on Bryn Mawr Ave. Also Fr.George performed my wedding at Queen of Angels Parish. Take comfort knowing that Fr.George touched many lives and always will be remembered.

During Fr. Helfrich's short time at Queen of Angels in the 60's, he was loved by the students for his good humor and athletic skills. As one of those students, I'll always remember how he taught me a mean tennis serve that remains in my muscle memory!

Howard and family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time, as well as our thankfulness for George's wonderful life in Christ. As hard as it might be for his loved ones here, we rejoice at his homegoing to his Lord.

Father Helfrich was a saint and I cherish the wonderful memories of him as a classmate and teammate at St. Gregory's Grammer School. I remember how happy we were when we won the St. George's Grammer School Basketball Tournament. We offer our deepest sympathy to his family.
