Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Wes's family. Wes was a very positive influence in my life as scoutmaster when I was a young man. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

A true gentlemen and Christian. We always enjoyed his demeanor and friendship at Nicholson Lumber, especially at the coffee pot.
As a fellow veteran, I especially enjoyed hearing his stories of service during WWII as a combat engineer.
He departed too quickly.

In spirit.

My sincere sympathy to the family, friends and all who knew Wes. He knew everyone and had many friends. He was a special friend to my husband, John and I have some good memories of times with Wes and Ella. Nicholson has lost a legend.

Our condolences to the Herron Family. Wes was a great person- friendly, helping - we always loved doing business with him- he was very helpful. He will be missed by everyone.

To the Herron Family,
It is so sad to see this wonderful generation pass away. My mom went Home in November and I know the sadness you feel. Please know that others care.
God Bless You All,
Phyllis Hoadley Shinglock

My Condoleneces to the family. He was a great man. The first time I met him, my washer was broke and I only had a small amount of cash and was raising my children as a single parent. He gave me 5 months to pay it off as he said he would not take food out of my childrens mouths. God Bless him. I will never forget him. I wish there were more gentlemen like him that care so much about their neighbors. A true angel has gone home!!

Wes, you have been a good neighbor and friend; you will be sorely missed when Nece and I return to Nicholson this May.

My thoughts and prayers to the Herron family. Wes was a special man who lived his faith and was always willing to lend a hand. He was a faithful member of the Nicholson United Methodist Church. He was Nicholson Lumber Company and always had time to greet and help his customers. My parents always told me what a special person he was and during my time living there in the Nicholson area I enjoyed know him. God bless all the family.

George Wesley Herron was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather. I was proud to know him as a friend and neighbor. His devotion to his church, family, friends and neighbors will live on forever. May Wes rest in peace, and may he shine over us from heaven above.
