George J. Hickey Jr.

My prayers for my cousin and childhood playmate and hero. His service in Italy and Germany was to me the height of heroism and he came home a man after leaving Somerville Mass. as a boy. I looked up to him and loved him. My love to the boys and to his darling wife Agnes.

May the memories of your dad bring you comfort during this difficult time. Your dad was quite an accomplished man. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

To George's three handsome sons, who we've been hearing about from your Mom while working with her at Cabot and during the many years since, we did not want George to leave us so early but, for reasons of his own, God wanted him sooner. May peace be in your hearts. My prayers go out to you.
