I'm very sorry to hear about George's passing. I worked with him in Team 3 briefly before moving back to Lexington 10 years ago. His nickname was 'Rabbit' then (from Super Troopers) and he was hilarious to work with. He always had a smile on his face and had a very kind heart. My heart goes out to his wife and child, I can't imagine what they must be going through. I hope with God's help they find a way to make it through this. I'll pray for them.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Elizabeth and Matthew and George's entire family. We are unable to attend the service at Seacoast but I want to give you our sincere sympathy. We loved when George was living near us - always felt safe when his car was parked in the lot! Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." We will continue to keep you and yours in our prayers.

I was close friends with George in high school and remained friends with him in college. He wrote lyrics and played drums in a band we had in high school; I'm sure not many people know about that side of him. All of my memories with him are fond. He was kind, funny, and trustworthy. He never had an unkind thing to say about anyone and I really miss him.

My prayers go out to you and your family. George was an amazing guy. His smile would light up a room. We both had a love for our Gamecocks!! He was such a kind, caring and sweet man. His love for being a police man was evident. He will be missed by so many. May he find peace. Miss you always.

It is with a heavy heart, that I extend my condolences to George's family. I had the honor and privilege to work with George before I retired, and always found him to be professional in the execution of his duties; and a credit to the Charleston Police Department. He had an amazing ability to share his charming smile with those who he came in contact with, which sometimes help to calm difficult situations. He will be sorely missed. May God bless his soul; and keep those near and dear to him...
