I met George in 1998 with the start of Goodwill's partnership with the Pgh Zoo. George not only took the time to work with the crew from Goodwill but he always gave a word of support to us about the special work that we were doing. I later became a Zoo employee and had the pleasure of supervising George. It was during this time that I really got to know George as a person. Dear Hill Family,
I knew George from working at the zoo. I will always remember him as the kind man who always had a smile on his face and a happy sound in his voice.

Pam, Renee, and George:
I am very greatful to have had the opportunity to know George. The Zoo will never be the same without him, and I know that he has a special place in heaven.
