Not sure what to say?

I remember George from my High School wrestling days ( Kal Central ) and College ( M S U ). He wrestled at Battle Creek Central and We had some great meets with His teams. He was a very hard worker in the practice room and went on to have a great career at State. Condolences to George's Family and may He rest in eternal peace.

I just happened upon this ... and I am saddened. I wrestled for George but one year at Western Michigan, but I knew him to be a person of great character, integrity and warmth. He provided a great example to me for what a real man is! RIP George! Hope they have paddleball in heaven ... cause I'm looking forward to a game someday!

Janene am so sorry to hear about George. Even though we have not crossed paths in years, think of you often. Prayers for you and your family. Mickey Olivanti

Janeene I was so sad to read about this and will pray for comfort and strength for all of you.

This was sad news to all of us who knew and loved George. George Hobbs knew how to be a good friend. His warm personality and consistent kindness enriched our lives. I am confident that you knew that all of us in the WMU Gang loved you and enjoyed jogging, fishing, playing racquetball, and playing cards with you. We will miss you George. thank you for being our friend over so many years.

It has been many years since I went to BCHS with the two of you. I remember you both very fondly. I am sorry for your loss.
