Not sure what to say?

I have worked for Mr. George for 10 years. At times he was like a father to me. He was an amazing man.I often thought, how lucky his kids were to grow up with a father like he was. I will miss him more than words can express.

My thoughts are with the family. I met Mr. Hoffman a few times when my Dad worked with him at the D.E.R. here in Pensacola/Gulf Breeze.

I worked with George Hoffman at the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation. He was a fine man with a wonderful heart and great sense of humor. My deepest condolances to his family at this very difficult time.

Renee,
Kathy and I were so sorry to hear about George. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family. We love you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Hoffman after hurricane Ivan while replacing his kitchen cabinets. I knew right off he was a card when he helped me unload cabinets in the rain at 80 something years old. They don't make men like him anymore,he is truly a kind gentleman and humanitarian. I remember him feeding the 1 legged heron on his back deck sardines, but spending an afternoon playing with wind up aiplanes with an 80 year old man, priceless. He gave me a memory I will have for life, that's...

All the Romeos will miss George at our usual Tuesday luncheons. George was a fine neighbor and everyone in Willowood will miss him greatly.

Your dad was very kind and helpful to me during the hurricane seasons of the 1990's. He and my dad were friends from the early days in Pensacola. Both were honest, gratious, straight-forward, and dependable gentlemen...and will always be missed. I lost my dad last summer. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dad, you helped all of us through thick and thin. You held us up when things got tough and put us back together when we fell apart. You taught us to soldier on and move forward always never looking back. Thank you Dad for letting me help take care of you for the past few weeks, it was my privilege to be by your side. It is something I will hold close to my heart for the rest of my life. I will miss you dearly.

Your loving son, Philip
