Not sure what to say?

I just heard, and while I only knew you guys a little while, way back when, I am truly sorry for your loss. Dobie and Emmett, I send you my prayers...

Dobie,
It was my honor to be able to be there to help when you and George moved from the beach to Harbors Edge. I will always miss his sharp witt & his cutting sense of humor. My heart holds a special place for both of you.

Dear Dobie,
Allan and I send our thoughts and prayers to you as well as our love. You and George hold a very special place in our hearts, with love, Andrea and Allan

Mom just told me a story of when George started at Seaboard Citizen National Bank. He and Billy Thomas worked as tellers. My mother, Nell Ruffin Mellen, worked across the lobby and Dobie came on as the safe deposit girl. Apparently Billy regularly lobbed spit balls across the lobby. Mom jovially said, "they all had great fun". When the girls made plans to go to Europe, apparently George did not think that was such a good idea and asked Dobie to marry him. What a delightful love story.

Dobie,
Sending love and prayers to you and your children.

Sallie
