George Holcomb Obituary
George Jay Holcomb, Jr., 81, of Sun City, AZ, passed away March 25, 2011 in Sun City. Jay, a Valley resident since 1964, was part of his family-owned business, "The Jennifer Shops", until 1981. He is survived by his wife, Avis C. Huntley-Holcomb; a daughter, Sherie Lynn; four sons, Robert Jay (Robin), Richard Dewitt, Steven Earle (Diane) and David Michael (Cindy); a sister, Nancy Lynn (Richard) Johnson, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, George Jay and Margery Ruff Holcomb, Sr. Donations may be made in his name to Hospice of the Valley, 9435 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria, AZ 85345. Advantage Golden Door Chapel, Youngtown, AZ is in charge of arrangements.

Dear Dad, I'm so greatful first of all to have had you as my Father, and that we were able to spend some quality time together in the recent months/years. Now you're in Gods loving hands with out further suffering. God has taken you home, leaving my self and family with a life full of memories. I Love you and will miss you Dad. GOD BLESS YOU DAD.
