Not sure what to say?

George and I graduated from Iona University in 1962. Among all of my fellow graduates George is most memorable for his warmth and outgoing personality. I will always cherish our years of friendship. RIP. Edward T. Quinn

Was his mother Mildred Middlemiss who taught 2nd grade at PS 132 in Queens? My heartfelt condolences

I didn't have him as an English teacher, but I knew who he was. My condolences.

Mr. Hopkins was my Home Room Teacher in De Witt Clinton High School, Bronx, NY. George was definitely one of the good guys! As a former Marine myself, I cannot offer a more appropriate remark than "Semper Fi Marine" RIP!!

Farewell, Mr. Hopkins. You always had the biggest smile at Susan E. Wagner High School. You showed us that we could look forward to a joyful life.

Single Memorial Tree

My condolences to the Hopkins family. I was a student of Mr Hopkins at Wagner High School, class of `73. I remember Mr Hopkins as being a kind and very funny man. May you Rest in Eternal Peace.

Diane, Just read of George's passing. My sincere sympathy to all of you. We have many good, happy and funny memories of you both as next door neighbors.
