George Edward Hovis

I am saddened to hear of George's passing. I know it has been a tough road for him and his family. He has now found peace.

I met him when I first came to the Chamber of Commerce in 2004. He impressed me in his efforts to carry on the Teacher Appreciation Breakfast after Howard Stockton's passing, and he was all in on growing the program to help more students and recognize our area schools and teachers. I will always remember his kindness & encourgement. Working with him on Teacher Appiciation & other charities to benifit S.Lake County.
