Dr. George Michael Howard

I spent many hours in Guyer gym either as a teammate, but more often, matched against Mike in the noontime basketball games. I also knew him off the court as the Acting Head of Department of Engineering, where my wife spent some time working for him. He was a gentleman, a competitor, and a good friend to myself and to my wife. He will be missed.
