What could I say about "Uncle George"... He was funny, witty, friendly, the first to lend a helping hand, hard working, ready to go on the drop of a dime.. just watch out when he put that buggy in drive.. Aunt Gloria had to hop in more than once! lol He and Aunt Gloria may never have had children of their own, but the legacy of what they shared and the memories they left behind will be remembered for a life time. I can still see those rosy cheeks n sheepish smile and his laugh will forever...

George was my first supervisor at University of Michigan Hospital - 41 years ago. I enjoyed working for him and with him until he moved to the Plant Maintenance department. Though I saw him less often after that, it was alway good to see him.
May God give you comfort as you deal with his loss.

You have my deepest sympathy. It is great that you and George had almost 61 years together. Don and I only had 45 and he has been gone 20 years. Time heals but we never forget our loved ones.

Barb and I live in Florida now, but, we still check on Ann Arbor. Sorry to see that George has passed. I remember him as a real solid citizen. Hoover-NSK seems like a long time ago and you were something special. We hope that you, your family and friends enjoy all the best...........
