Our thoughts & prayers are with you all in this time of sorrow. Wayne was a Great Man and was considered to be one of the strongest most organized member of the Hampton Roads Traffic Club we held great respect for him and his family. May God Bless you all with the understanding that your loss is now Heavens Gain. Peace be with you all.

Donn and Jon...Your father left a legacy of a loving family, lasting relationships with friends, and the richness of living to serve others. I'm thinking of you during these sad days.

Donn and Jon,
I am sorry to read of the loss of your father. He was a great man and I learned a lot more from reading the obituary. I always thought when we were growing up that he was very strict, but as I grew older, I realized that he was just being a "father". My thoughts and prayers are with you both and your families.

Mr. Irby, my prayers go out to you and your family during this time I know that Gods has his loving arms wrapped around you stay strong.

Yvonne Robinson, Virginia Beach, VA

I am sorry for the loss of your father. He had a huge heart and was very kind and thoughtful toward all the office staff at Independence MS. His kind heart will stand as a wonderful example of how all of us should treat one another. May God bless you and your family during this time of mourning.

It is with great sadness that I read of Mr. Irbys death, he was such a kind and loving man. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Christine Gunn

What I remember most about Mr. Irby was his wit. In any situation he always had a quick, witty response...It is never easy when you lose a parent. I am so sorry for the family! Be blessed.

I am so sorry for your loss. My father David Pettit served in the Virginia National Guard with Mr. Irby. My father often spoke of him with honor and respect.
