I am at a loss for words to express the grief I feel for you and your family. Brooks and his mother Carol were such a great part of the Yorkminster Pres. Church family when Brooks was growing up in Yorktown. They were greatly loved here.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you in this difficult time, and it is my hope that the support and love of your friends and your faith will carry you through the days and time ahead.

This is a hard time, but don't despair. lift your heart to God our maker and he will sustain thee. He has promised. Claim His promises and He will bless you and yours.

I went to Christopher Newport College with Brooks and remember him lovingly. He was a loyal friend and a good guy to the core. I lost touch with him over the years, but every time I have thought of him it has been with a smile.

I am heart broken over your loss and will pray for peace and healing for you and your son.
